do you need a fence in Sugarland Texas or Richmond Rosenberg Texas? Some of these people that are out there building fences weren’t even born when hurricane Ike came through this area. Let me share some of my wisdom from living and working through a hurricane that left this type of devastation. first of all lot of these people running around offering to build a fence are not fence professionals, a lot of them aren’t even from this area. Like a sinking ship a storm brings out a lot of the rats. These guys can talk shop but when you need them to come back and fix something they’re gone and you’ll never hear from them again. These guys are also not familiar with the rules in your HOA guidelines. They are not going to put up the right type of wood they are going to get in trouble with. I understand some of you need Fence as fast as possible because you have animals or you have a pool, call somebody reputable and get on their waiting list. I can’t handle every person in the first colony or Sugarland area that needs a fence, but between all of the reputable companies that have been here operating for the past 15 or 20 years we can get to you in the next two or three weeks. Secondly these guys are charging way too much for especially given the terrible materials they are using. The prices have not yet gone up on fencing materials you were in luck. Right now you should not be getting a quote that is more than about $32-$34 per foot depending upon the style of the fence. I’ve seen people getting quotes for $62 a linear foot and they are paying it. that is price gouging and you are being taken advantage of.
